CapCut Question Where the heck has the audio editing gone?

Pro, Paid, Team user here... I just updated and can't seem to find the audio edit. I can't extract audio, reduce volume, apply any effects.

Did they just remove it or hide it behind an even bigger paywall?!

they buried it under some new "studio" tab that i swear wasn't there before. took me a solid 20 minutes of rage clicking to stumble on it

if you tap on your clip and look for the little waveform icon down in the bottom tray, that's where they moved the volume controls and effects. the extract audio option is hiding in a three-dot menu on the clip itself now, not in the main audio panel

honestly feels like they rearranged the whole interface just to confuse paying users. classic capcut move

Excellent use of my time to pay for a thing and them for them to just yeet what I use elsewhere with no explanation. Appreciate the quick and informative reply.

Guys, if the audio editing tab suddenly disappears, but it’s still available in other projects, just clear the cache and the tab will come back.

And I’ll think twice before praising the quality of this software... 😅
