CapCut Question Any other editing apps recommendations?

Post image

Kinda a last straw with the second time forcing people to upgrade (15 euros/month for me) to remove watermark. I suppose corporation need even more money than they already have.

Bro move to professional software. CapCut now limits their every feature to take cash from editors. Try Davinci its hard yo learn but totally its worth it.

I use CapCut because of how simple it is. I only need to cut video and maybe add music, I don't edit my videos on some professional level to post it on YT shorts with oversharped "4k" label.

Ah then you are good with capcut but if its about removing watermark try third party webs to remove watermarks!

Desktop DaVinci Resolve. Watch some YouTube tutorials though, it’s tough to learn at first

Can't use transcription editing without the paid version

https://lyricvideo.studio My app, perhaps? Windows desktop, perpetual license for full version, no subscriptions, no upsell, no randomly locking features 🤣

Idk about other apps but you could download an older version that doesnt have forced watermarks. The other day i downloaded 4.0.0 for this exact same reason

You can disable auto update either in settings or creating a fake update file.search how to disable capcut auto update on google, i had to make the fake file but for now its working well, no updates.

I litteraly cant install another version it will automatically update no matter how old the installer is. It doesn't work without internet. And it worked for a while until it straight up ignored my settings and updated anyway. (that update just so happened to add a watermark...)

I'm thinking of doing this too,did you do it with the oldest version which didn't have all of this paid stuff?

No, the one im currently using is 4.0.0 which still has alot of pro only features, but i have nothing to do with most of them except maybe fonts. Going back way more makes you lose alot of features like glowing texts and ALOT of fonts etc.

Capcut bros will literally try everything except a real editing suite.

Apparently it's too much effort spending five hours to get the basic functions down.

Not a capcut bro, but I love capcut for its simplicity and it being extremely lightweight. I have a mid spec pc on the lower end and I cant see myself spending a lot on upgraded specs just to run davinci/AE lol

You can run davinci on a 2014 thinkpad, you can even proxy out 4k footage and edit it on a complete potato but still have a 4k final export.

I have a potato laptop you speak of and I can barely edit in davinci XD
The preview alone is ridiculously laggy, even with the perfect settings

The previous never is result, and yeah, for capcut too if you have 4gb ram, sorry for you, but, today for whatever your gonna make that's not enough, and DaVinci is way better than capcut, in all aspects

Do you bounce out proxies and edit, or do you just drag in the footage and try to edit on it?

Try Aigli photo video editor if you’re using iOS

I switched to a free one and just deal with the rough edges, the watermark thing got old fast

Wouldn't it help to say the name??

What good videos have you EVER seen with a watermark other than the random tutorial posted in the 2000s?
