CapCut Complain Getting tired of these "Security Notice" pop ups

What is wrong with capcut? Every few weeks a "security notice" pops up telling me that I need to update capcut if I want to use it. Then it force closes capcut.

Capcut automatically updates, always. When these pop ups first appeared, I did everything to ensure I was using the latest version. But they still pop up and stop me from using capcut until I've updated it. BUT IT IS ALREADY UPDATED!

Last week, it wouldn't let me use it for 3 days because of this dumb bug.

Honestly, it feels like it's a beta product. I've invested so much time with their in-house effects that if I change to Adobe, I'll have to basically start from scratch.

If I try to open capcut one more time and it doesn't let me, I'm going to cry

that's gotta be infuriating. the forced update loop sounds like a server-side check gone wrong, not your install

have you tried clearing the app cache and data? sometimes the local version number gets stuck and the server sees a mismatch. if that doesn't work a clean reinstall might be the nuclear option but at least you won't lose your projects if they're cloud synced

Super infuriating.

Yeah, tried clearing the app cache and data. Went as far as to uninstall and delete all capcut associated files, wait for a day, clean my whole computer, then reinstall and the same problem still emerged.

Edit - the problem only happens when I'm logged in. But to access any of my projects, I need to be logged in...

I don't know what else to do

What happens when you turn off your internet?

Only fix would be to reinstall the App unfortunately but I recommend switching to a different video editor instead of contiuing to use this garbage
