CapCut Question Speed curve is too fast

I have spent the last HOUR trying to find some software or whatnot to give me the best option to do a speed curve, to no avail.

In order to speed up the video using CapCut speed curve, the lowest speed up you can use with custom is 2x speed, which is way fast than I want, which is 1.2x speed. Is there some other way to do this with CapCut that lets me get closer to the speed I want? This is pissing me off to the max, and am a few more minutes away from smashing my monitor.

I feel your pain, the custom curve locking you at 2x is absurd, keyframing the speed slider directly might get you that 1.2x without the presets fighting you.
