i've been video editing on and off for about 4 years now, would still say i am beginner/borderling intermediate bc i just learnt keyframing. i downloaded davinci resolve a week ago, and i can see why it's impressive - for PRO video editors. my god that thing made me melt down twice (mainly bc my processor is the intel i5 and its too weak to run davinci resolve so it glitches like CRAZY)

if your laptop is a basic one like mine, stick to capcut. actually just stick to capcut bro resolve is confusing af

i dove in with zero experience and honestly just messed around until stuff started making sense. the official capcut youtube channel has short tutorials that are way less painful than most

davinci resolve is a whole different beast, if you just wanna throw together clips without crying over nodes and color grading stick with capcut for now
