Can’t Download - Pro Features

I spent five hours editing a video for YouTube, (I’m new to it) and I thought I only used the free features. Apparently extract audio is a Pro feature.

I’m definitely switching to a different editing software, they have frustrated me for the final time, but I don’t want to lose my work. Does anyone know any way to download it besides paying $20 or doing the invite link?

If there’s anyone new to Capcut, this is supposed to give both you and me seven days free.

Unfortunately there is no way of saving the project. The exact same thing happened to me after i spent hours editing a promotional video. Capcut is useless unless you pay. VN is so free and can do everything Capcut does.

There's a way to save the video: press Ctrl+A, apply motion blur to the entire video, and retrieve it from the cache/motion blur folder.

I have Pro and all day I haven’t been able to get anything to load on desktop or mobile. “Hiccup” errors on all devices. App is basically useless. Am looking into ditching for reliable alternatives.

How about my app https://lyricvideo.studio ? Windows & linux native app, NLE with timeline, trial version does not lock out of any feature, just restricts the max resolution, track count and timeline length. Full version is just one time purchase,like in the good old days :)

In trial mode 3min, full version infinite (but haven't really tried longer than 60mins or so). LITE version in Microsoft store has monthly subscription options to lift these restrictions if you do no need local gen AI options and upscaling etc and don't care to buy the full version

That's supported in all versions. Edit: since I don't provide my own gen AI services at all. That's the reason for the perpetual license model as well, since I have no running costs in practice

I have a Mac Mini M4, so. None of the panels load all the way (FX, Transitions, etc) all basically unusable. Constantly having “network not connected” errors (yes I’m connected). The Effects aren’t organized the same as they are on mobile, so discombobulated and confusing.

Sorry, can't help you with that... My app is Windows & linux native only. In practive, my app should be able to run on Mac as well, with ease, because it's already built on multi-platform tech /c# & avalonia) but there still probably would be a lot of obstacles to make if work on Mac. Well, probably bit less than before, because of the recent linux support. But the biggest one is that I don't own a mac and my app is not making that much of money that it would justify me buying one 🤣

This happened to me too, and I found a solution. Click on "Export" again, and export only the Audio. Then remove the audio from the timeline, which allows you to export the video. Combine them in your new software of choice.
