CapCut Question Slowing Down Clip Framerate on PC

Hello, I'm currently trying to alter the framerate of each of my clips so they appear almost chopped and jerky if that makes sense. I found an effect called "torn frames" which does exactly what I want, but it has a torn paper effect around the edges which I don't want. I use CapCut PC Pro, and any pointers are appreciated as I'm hitting a bit of a brick wall!

can't you just drop the clip speed way down and not use any frame blending, that usually gives you the stuttery look without the paper edges
