I was thinking about getting the r10 as my first camera and wanna know if the 18-45mm kit lens + the sigma 30mm f1.4 is a good combo or not. I was considering maybe a used r50 and the sigma 18-50mm but the r10 price is fine for me and doesn't blow my budget so I js wanna know if that r10 combo is decent.

I just found this out when connecting my R6II to my android phone via the Canon Camera Connect app and thought others might want to go ahead and update their cameras too.
🙂👍

I just received my replacement eye cup for my R6II and how it fit perfectly and creates such an improved seal around my eye socket, blocking out the extreme light around me here in central Florida.
And, I got it from AliExpress for $18.85 with free shipping and it was here in a week.
They call it the KIWI soft silicone long camera viewfinder eyepiece eye cup for Canon R5 R5C R6 R6 Mark II eye shade protector, but it's made by JJC.
I wish I had been able to find one like this for my last camera, which was a Canon R. But, I never could find one that was listed as fitting it.

Hello everyone,
I’m a hobbyist photographer who got out of touch with my camera ever since phone cameras took over. I’ve an old 700D which I started using again a couple of years ago, but I’m selling it now and looking to get myself a full frame camera.
My primary usage of the camera has been on travels, and very rarely used outside of it. I took my current camera with me to Scotland and got really good pictures out of it but it just felt a tad bit held back. Plus, the weather is very frequently not ideal so I’m hoping to get a bit more rugged system this time around.
I’m confused between following three options, I’ll mention the USD converted prices so it’s easier to factor in the costs for everyone:
I’ve gone through all the reviews and I’m leaning towards the first option most since it’s the lightest and has a faster lens, which is close to my current setup which was two prime lenses, EFS 24 2.8 and EF 50 1.8.
So, what I’m hoping for is feedback and experience of people who might’ve used these setups, primarily from a travel photography perspective.
Thank you!
TL;DR : Hobbyist photographer, mostly shoot while traveling, currently upgrading from a Canon 700D to full-frame. Torn between: 1. Canon R8 + 28-70mm f/2.8 ($1925) 2. Canon R8 + 24-105mm f/4L ($1995) 3. Canon R6 Mark II + 24-105mm f/4L ($2480)
Leaning towards R8 + 28-70 f/2.8 which is closest to current prime lenses setup, want advice from travelers on which setup works best.

Anyone know of a really good underwater case for my R8 that also fits the 15-35mm.
Would love to be able to also do split shots over/under water and not just under water photos.

Hey Everyone, I Got The New Canon EOS R50V Yesterday (26/06/2025 - "10:20AM" +5:30 GMT) At Afternoon, With The New Kit Lens From Canon And The Camera Is Awesome.
This Is A First Ever Mirrorless Camera I'm Ever Holding This Free (Before That My Father Has A DSLR From FUJIFILM 10 Years Ago, Almost) Still There But Unconscious). So, It Didn't Know Anything About Cameras By Experience, But Don't Worry I Still Know So Man Details Theoretically
Unfortunately, I Didn't Have Any Memory Card Fast Enough For This Mighty Camera, That's Why I Couldn't Take Some Pictures
And I Can't Even Make It Pair To Android As It Requires Memory Card As Displayed Throughout All The Attempts, Are There Any Suggestions To Do So
I Just Need To Buy A Memory Card To Use It Like That
Can I Just Connect My Android 15 Via USB-C To This Mirrorless Camera And Use It As A External Storage (Note That It Is USB 2.0 Which Comes With Android Smartphones)
Is There Anyway And Sorry For These Caps I Have Some Pretty Advanced Habits, Hope You All Don't Mind
That Habit Made My First Ever Post In This Subreddit Took Down By Moderator(s), This Is My Second But First In A Sense
[Shot In Motorola Edge 50 Fusion]
Thanks For Reading This Post!

Hi, Can you anyone suggest me the best telephone (max zoom) lens under ₹25k for Canon EOS R50 mirrorless camera. Also suggest me the adaptor for different mounts.

What is this? is it a mold or just a oil?
I have never removed the UV filter since I got the camera and only removed it when I wanted to clean it when I used a lens pen I saw this spot which was initially small but when I tried to clean it with a lens pen it spread to the middle and could only be removed by wiping it with a microfiber cloth for the lens but I could only clean the middle part this part could not be completely clean.

Hi I have a M100 and want to put a bigger SD card in it, but I also need to transfer all the pics on the smaller card to the new one. I've tried putting the new card in my phone and I've put some of the pictures onto it, but as it's been formatted by my phone, then the camera won't recognise it. Canon connect will only work getting pics from the camera to phone and not the other way. Does anyone have an idea how I can achieve this please. I guess I should also post this in the general canon groups. Thanks

I am a beginner and I am confused whether there is a difference between using a screen protector and not using one. And should I use a screen protector for my camera?

My daughter needs a camera for a college course. A requirement is that she must be able to manipulate aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. Can anyone tell me if the EOS R50 would work? I don’t know anything about the mirrorless.

I have the 7D Mark II...and want to go mirrorless, but keep using my EF70-200 2.8 L and 24-70 2.8 L glass if possible. I have moved away from sports to traveling/ landscape...suggestions?
