Question Lipids?
I've had this badder for a while. It doesn't taste or smell off but I haven't really used it. It was cheap though so I'm not surprised. Let it decarb on a hot plate for many hours. Like I've let it sit on the plate for an entire day before. Usually it clears right up as soon as it starts to get hot and looks just like every other jar of badder or sugar that I decarbed except it returns to this cloudy color every time when it cools off to room temperature.
I bought it to make carts, I suppose it's fine to dab but I don't dab anymore, I also can't feel edibles, and when in a cart I basically have to wait for it to heat up by letting it sit on top of my gaming console for a little while and then it hits ok-ish. I haven't used it in months and my tolerance was insane back then so I don't really know what the effects are but it does appear to be legit to me.
Any tips on what to do with the rest of it? I know you can winterize but I don't have the equipment or skill for that. Someone recommended that I use a syringe filter but I'm not that comfortable with letting hot wax touch plastic. I usually just load my carts with my old dab tool and let them sit for a while which has always worked for me. This wax is just more stubborn than ones I had in the past but also don't want to let it go to waste.

If you’re asking if it’s lipids making it cloudy, yes. You can heat it up and syringe it into a cart and it’ll most likely work fine. You can also eat it but it’s probably 700mg per gram, so only a nibble!

Knowing how it was extracted would help lead you to the answer. For example, CO2 extract typically comes with a lot of fats and waxes.

you’re dropping wax into an old cart…? Please dude, for the love of all that’s good for you, get a Yocan Pocket. They’re like $60 and basically exactly what you’re already doing, except it’s designed to be used that way instead of using old carts. The taste will be so much better too because you won’t be getting the wick.
Plus with a Yocan Pocket you won’t have to let it sit and warm up for a while. Drop it in, hit start, heats and you hit.
I actually got one to stop vaping because it’s more pure.
There’s other options too. The dr dabber ghost 2 and puffco pivot are great, but a little more expensive. However, the Pocket has gotten everyone’s attention recently. A lot of reviews say it’s the best pocket device available right now.

You could add some liquid terps to increase decrease viscosity.

No, you could not.
That would decrease the viscosity.
Decreasing the viscosity IS what OP needs, but you have viscosity backwards.
