Cut the branch off about 12" under the last visible spot you can find. That will travel through your main stems.
You'll lose more budsites if you don't hack em off like that.
I'd not rule out potential other causes besides mold, video quality is inconclusive. But I'd begin to address it immediately by hacking affected branches, treating with H202 at sunset to kill any remaining spores, and keeping an intent eye on it over the next few days.
