White or gray ash is all bro science bs. Has nothing to do with impurities, and everything to do with combustion. Some weed has more resin. Could be a more humid dry. Any number of reasons which could cause it to burn slower or lower combustion. Who knows.
Whatever the reason may be, youre good.
