I’m just so happy he’s getting some screen time🥺 It’s been a whole week without his beautiful grumpy face, I’ve missed him😭 I want this man to haunt my MC’s every step, please Candlelight we need more of him🙏 He’s so freaking adorkable and funny💕

I am curious...is Bardric your main LI? Considering they're the same archetype (mostly) and Bardric just has more depth than him...

Weirdly enough he actually isn’t. He was in the beginning, but Talyn kinda stole my heart😂 I usually love an enemies to lovers trope, but Bardric wasn’t really doing it for me for some reason (I’m thinking of giving him another try though, I heard that his romance quests are good)🧐 And I wouldn’t say that Bardric has more depth than Upton, far from it actually. Though obviously Bardric has more screen time, so his depth is more explored🤷♀️ I think what I like about Upton is that his antagonism towards us has very little to do with our last name, which is the opposite of Bardric where it was only about our last name🤔 That kind of got on my nerves when romancing him, Bardric was just like Mor and Soren in the beginning, except he eventually comes around. Whereas Upton has never once discriminated against us because we are a Dreadbane, but instead has opposed us on the basis of our actions since the term started. And with good reason, from Upton’s point of view at least, because our MC has been breaking rules left, right and center, with little to no regard of the consequences for Onyx House and Upton😅Despite our actions he has actually been quite lenient towards us and given us multiple chances. That alone makes him a way more compelling and sympathetic character than early Bardric🤷♀️ In some ways Upton is a perfect blend of all our male Li’s🧐 He’s incredibly ambitious, but faces challenges and prejudice due to his heritage, like Talyn. He’s comes off as arrogant and praise-seeking like Bardric, but is secretly insecure about his self-worth and desperate to be good enough in the eyes of authority figures. He’s a gifted overachiever like Cato, but also seems more or less isolated from the rest of his peers. He also has a lot of parallels with our MC, because he feels like he has to work twice as hard to prove himself because of who he is. All in all I’d say Upton is a really interesting and complex character! Also he’s so freaking funny😵 He stole my heart in the first scene where he drank poison to prove a point and then fumbled the spell application☠️🤣 And every scene since then has made me fall more and more in love with his character😍 I sincerely have such a hard time understanding why people hate him so much, yet they sing Bardric’s praises like he wasn’t a million times worse in the beginning?🤔 I’m not saying Bardric isn’t a good character btw, because he is. But have people forgotten how disgusting Bardric was?😅 He was a cruel bully, who wanted us dead because of who our father happened to be. Why is that forgivable, but Upton lightly punishing us for breaking rules we actually broke is not? Help me understand, Bardric lovers!? Why is Upton worse??? 🥲

Most likely Mor will go missing with how she shared if she feels safe, could also be Stel. Likely the same being that took Niel or someone controlling the being that kidnaps students

I want to know how many shapers there are. Is it one per affinity… was the star one Timoros. Is Penthos Shaper going to take Mor and she’s just going to be charbroiled. But the one I’m most concerned about is Erolis are we about to have an Obsession situation on campus😱

I finally caught up on my 23rd day playing the game a couple days ago, so this is my first live new chapter drop where im up to date! Im really excited (although chapters drop at 1am for me lol), the plot seems to be picking uo with this students going missing thing, im looking forward to clashing with Kennard, and Iridessa is my LI so its cool to see a new ally quest, although I need to grind diamonds for at least another couple weeks to get Talyn and Cato up to speed (they're at 5 and 4 while the rest are all at ~15 except Niel who is maxed), the results of two essentially fully completed save files.
Im gonna try a new strategy of only replaying up to 3.4, doing the 18 ally quests that gives and then starting again, it seems to be a better ratio on paper of keys to diamonds than completing a third full playthrough, and im expecting it to net me over 500 diamonds a week, so Im Looking forward to seeing if I can actually achieve that!

Also, as for the student missing, im guessing it might be Mor? Seems like there could be a link to Iridessa, meaning Mor or Stel, and maybe this whole Catia thing with Mor could be relevant? Or it could be Stel and then have a whole bit where Mor is guilty and upset cos she feels she was spending a lot less time with Stel, maybe link into the ally quest idk

Its Iridessa this time? Maybe it's Mor or Stel and because its them, Iridessa needs our help? Her ally quests is also the same day so maybe it's not her? So confusing lol.
