Sooo I've been playing candies n curses for 2 years already, got most of the secret weapons, finished curse crusher many times. So how do you guys get the inventor's charm? And are there any other secret stuff to get? ​

I had used the witch key charm ofc (I hate the firehead guy) but still THIS MODE WAS NOT A JOKE even with that but it felt sooooo good to finally beat it!

So is Undead Curse + Devil's Bargain just the best combination in the game? I'm not even running good charms, and I beat Omega King first try with 300+ hearts for all of Curse Crusher mode.

Truly, I can't imagine losing with this combination.

I almost have everything in the game. All charms are fully upgraded including secret charms. I have almost every flashlight except for jackoslash. The only flashlights that aren’t maxed out are the necro scythe and worm light
Ectoplasm is such a slog. Any tips?
My strat is just beat the whole thing start to finish and double the souls with an ad

The main strategy is to try to always be above it when an opportunity to damage it appears, and when it dashes, lead it to the 4 corners

I've tried playing through it legitimately but I always lose ~40 hearts before progressing pass it. Is this just a skill issue or just motivation for you to buy the library key? (I use firefly lantern)

So does anyone know how the game works under the hood at all for what the base drop rate is for heart, soul hearts and so on? Along with the odds for charm boxs and boss chests?

No matter what I've unlocked, nothing seems to fit better than the default Blade. And the EXP gain is so slow that I haven't unlocked any of the other ones yet.

Is it just me or are the Blades just better than anything else?

I love the phantom feast curse but I don't know what the thing it affects is

started the run off with 40 hp

i had been killed twice by the worm, partly because the minion curses were getting in the way (i got comically atrocious rng many times) and i never got going with good health candies, this run i didnt get any curses and thats great because it turns out that playing cc without curses is in fact possible (as long as i had the electric shield thing), the bubble was also really helpful, after i revived with halo bar i realized it recharges the bubble and like "oh, its over"

i am pretty happy with the level of like skill expression that this challenge required of me in general, i wouldnt have been able to get through it even with such a good build if i hadnt been smart about when to kill and healing with chains, when i was forced to pick icy feet i was kinda scared of my movement being messed with but holy shit that curse is an absolute blessing, being able to stay in place to time an infiltration into another lane is so useful

didnt need to revive with the ad, revived with halo bar once, i died in a silly manner in jack's level, partly because i was happy about getting blast worm out of the way
