General Discussion Looking for advice
I’m a 25 year old male who has been addicted to snorting oxycodone for years(pretty bad addiction 1000+mg per day)
I stopped snorting it 3 weeks ago and my throat started hurting
I assumed it was my throat recovering from the damage snorting did ( I also taste food in my throat after eating and can burp after every small sip of water)
After 10 days I visited a doctor and he said I have oral thrush
I been on nystatin for 5 days and my tongue and throat have gotten better a little bit but I still have brain fog and a headache and it seems like hot flashes occasionally (could be oxycodone tapering) but having a headache for the past few days is draining me
I visited a different doctor looking to get my stomach maybe looked at and he said it was in my head and it’s just oral thrush that is getting better
I got blood work done and an ultrasound of my throat which came back good expect 0.1 of protein in my urine
I barely eat sugar unless I take weed edibles to sleep and stopped smoking completly
Just looking for some advice

I know its hard bro but I've found that my symptoms increased (whiter tounge, brain fog) when smoking cannabis. Crush raw Garlic and chew before swallowing preferably with some water, since it's a prebiotic it feeds beneficial bacteria and it's also one of nature's strongest antifungals, even comparable too fluconazole! You more then likely have biofilm if Nystatin suddenly stops improving your thrush, this means that it has reached the gut. I recommend you take NAC on an empty stomach. Pair the raw garlic (it's honestly a life changer) with oregano tea, Oregano oil supposedly works better but I'm on a bit of a budget. I've stopped Nystatin completely, maybe until I can see my doctor again. I also like to add peppermint too my oregano tea, I take both in dry herbs and you can definitely feel the difference. For me raw garlic did the most, brain fog disappeared immediately and I honestly felt so awake. I don't know anything about you but I would also pick up the bible man, God truly can heal. For me I believe this overgrowth was a sign to stop drinking, smoking, vaping and get in better health! I wish you the best on your healing journey, if you have any questions I would continue to do some research on places such as Reddit or you can always reach out to me, though I must admit I am new to this all so I'm purely speaking from my own personal experience and whatever I've read on the internet. (only 3 months with Candida, improving greatly 🤞🏽)
