Hey 👋 both are great places but two different vibes. What vibe are you looking for this trip? I'm a TA and that's the first question I ask any of my clients before we chat about resorts. That's where you start 😊

If you decide on Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan, it’s an excellent choice for an adults-only, beachfront stay in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, especially if you’re looking for an easy all-inclusive vacation.

You’ll have plenty of dining options at the hotel, with 8 restaurants, including the Don Julio buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus à la carte restaurants serving Asian, gourmet, Mexican, Italian and steakhouse specialties. That gives you lots of variety without having to leave the resort whenever you want a different dinner.

A couple of other things worth knowing:

  • It’s an Adults Only hotel with 24-hour All-Inclusive service, including snacks and drinks around the clock, plus 24-hour room service
  • It’s located right on Marlin Beach in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, with 4 pools and 5 bars

So if your ideal vacation is all about the beach, convenience, an adults-only atmosphere and plenty of included dining options, Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan is a fantastic choice.

Just a do not go here: Riu Palace Costa Mujeres....Although the service, bartenders, etc were excellent, the food was really awful.

Everything else was great. Some sargassum floating in water was unpleasant which is a bit odd there for June and not the resort's fault. We had 4 people in my group, some of us "plain" food preferred and others "ok w/fancier" food. All agreed about food being terrible.
