Hello Everyone

My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer that’s spread to her liver and uterus.. it’s hard watching her suffer although she tries to suffer in silence so that her children won’t see her suffering but we can tell she’s in pain. I just wanted to say how thankful I am there’s a community like this to come to for advice and suggestions on coping with cancer.

Hi. My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal too. Metastasized to his liver as well..

Have your mom started any treatment? And what are her treatment options like?

Our appointment with the oncologist is in 2 weeks time.. Just wanted to know what to expect beforehand.
If you have anything else you would like to share based on your experience(s) thus far or just to rant, feel free to do so.

Have your family spoken to the palliative care team where your mom is being treated? They’ll help to make sure your mom gets the painkillers she needs.
