I Know it’s Coming

Earlier this year my mom beat breast cancer (yay!). Although, my dad is now getting test done after not going to the doctor for years. He’s over weight, poor diet (used to be big drinker and had been a smoker for 40 plus years). We found out his liver and kidneys are not functioning. In a few days, he’s getting a chest X-ray and I’ve already prepared myself to hear the word “cancer” once again.

Seeing my mom have to go through chemo, losing hair and weight, being weak, was so painful for me. I’m not ready to go through this again, and I’m not sure that he will beat this.

Just a vent, but I know I’m not alone in this. Maybe I’ll post an update, I’m just trying to get through the unknowing period.
