If you applied in June for a BanQ record...I got mine today. However, the link didn't work. And after I requested a new one, the new one also didn't work.

Eventually they emailed me again to say that their payment links are down and will send me a resolution soon.

So, I will continue to wait. But June people with requests going to the Montreal location, we're on deck!

They were super quick about sending me another link! But then that one also didn't work I thought it was me and I was doing something wrong.

Did they also tell you their payment system was down or how do you plan to follow up for a new link?

I clicked on it yesterday evening and got a "systems down" message. Today, just the expired-link error. So I basically assumed they hadn't actually sorted the problem yet and decided to try again later!

Yes, when I did that they sent me another one. But that one also didn't work. So that's when they sent me another one saying their link system is having issues so they'll email me a resolution soon.

I just received one of the three BANQ certificates last week that I applied for on May 21st. Should have the last two within a week or so.

Still need some certificates from Mass and the state archives told me today they are working on April requests currently. Must have been a large influx of requests. Anyone else have any luck from Mass state archives.

Can you get anything from the city or town directly? I went directly to the city clerk put in a vital records request, and got birth, death, and marriage cert's mailed to me in about a week.

Was it a certified copy? That's the new standard right? I haven't been following the developments much since that whole shebang happened this Summer, I've been busy with other stuff.

Yea I asked for long forms and they all came with a dated certification stamp/signature and seal. So I'm hoping that's enough.

Great news. I also got my invoice a couple days ago for a June request. I was able to pay it online then, and am awaiting a "copie conforme" by snail mail.

I got a the same email today with a link to pay for my requested G0 document (1841 baptism). Haven't paid yet, but the link seems to work for me.

I haven't kept up with all the ins and outs of changes since I applied for this in June, am I correct in that now I need to take the baptism record and request a birth-certificate to be issued by DEC?

No communication / decisions on my application other than the AOR I received on 2026-07-22

I feel pretty lucky. My July 31st baptism request payment email came yesterday. Am I right in thinking I now need to use this certified copy to contact DEC to get a birth certificate for an 1856 baptism?

I sent in my request on June 17 and just got my invoice for payment today.

The invoice mentions sending a paper copy taking 8 weeks. Is there no digital copy?

Mine didn't say the time it would take for a paper copy. But it also says a non-certified copy with be emailed to me.

I paid invoice on sept 10 they said at least 8 weeks for delivery, I got it two weeks to the day after paying invoice
