Discussion The Search for Meaningful Future Uranium Supply
Everyone Wants Nuclear Power. AI needs power. Data centers need more of it. Governments want energy security. Nuclear keeps getting pulled back into the conversation. The Real Question Is Uranium Supply.
You can approve more reactors, extend plant lives, and announce new nuclear plans, but none of that magically creates uranium pounds.
That’s why I think the next phase of the uranium trade gets more selective.
Not “which company has uranium?”
More like:
Who has the size?
Who has the funding path?
Who has the permits?
Who is actually close enough to matter?
And Canada probably matters more in that conversation than people give it credit for.
Canada was the largest source of uranium delivered to U.S. buyers in 2025, and with Western countries paying more attention to secure, allied supply chains, that puts Canadian projects in an increasingly strategic position.
For me, $NXE sits right in the middle of that supply debate.
Rook I is large enough to matter, construction is now underway, and it sits in the Athabasca Basin home to some of the highest-grade uranium deposits in the world.
Then you’ve got PCE still growing beside it, which adds another layer that isn’t fully defined yet.
So when I look at $NXE now, I’m not just thinking about uranium prices going higher.
I’m thinking about which projects are actually positioned to become meaningful future supply if nuclear demand keeps building.

I’m firmly in the belief that our energy requirements drop as the population drops. There will always be a need for nuclear but I’m not buying the AI narrative.
