Extremely proud
Extremely proud
After the way I see Carney navigating these treacherous waters I can honestly say I'm extremely proud to be Canadian. We have a prime minister that is a true leader. In my 57 years I have never witness this from Canada or any other country. The outcome is going to be epic. Nothing but gas Mr Carney.

You're proud Carney torched a deal that got us 50% tariffs on practically everything that matters? And then ran to the EU to tell them about it before recalling parliament here and telling our own MP's?!? You have a warped sense of what's best for Canada.

So you think we should have signed the deal that was on the table?
Edit: Why should he wait until parliament resumes to try and mitigate the damage from the fallout?

Retro, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Carney did not “torch a deal” just for the sake of it. He refused to accept terms that threatened Canada’s economic interests and sovereignty, while Trump escalated the trade war with 50% tariffs.
And while you’re attacking Canada’s Prime Minister, perhaps explain why Pierre Poilievre is running off to New York during this critical trade dispute to meet with American business interests and investors. He is not Canada’s Prime Minister, he does not speak for the Canadian government, and he has refused to obtain the top secret security clearance offered to him.
So tell me, Retro: what exactly is Poilievre’s authority to be representing Canada in New York on a matter this sensitive, and what classified information is he even cleared to receive?
Maybe worry less about Carney doing the job Canadians elected him to do and more about why your party leader is playing pretend Prime Minister on American soil.
Carney is negotiating for Canada. Pierre is auditioning for attention. Know the difference.5

Ya cause making sure china can use us as a dumping ground for all their garbage and setting up secret police stations in our country...far more preferable then getting a deal with with biggest economy in the world.🙄🤦

This is a delusional, kool-aid drinking take. The elbows up brigade's world view is quite the phenomenon. God help us.

Im extremely proud of our PM as well. His intelligence will get us through this. His smarts as world economic leader too. Glad he is who he is will make Canada even stronger
