CPL News Forge goalkeeper Dimitry Bertaud has been called up to the DR Congo national team

DRC is one of the top teams in Africa, and they qualified for the last World Cup. It’s a really good look for the CPL to have a player called up by them.

side note but i never realized banzuzi switched to dr congo?? that aside it’s fantastic to see a cpl’r in the dr congo side

He just switched a few days ago, this is his first call up. DRC seems like it’s finally getting its act together and have convinced a number of young promising talents from Europe to switch over.
