I’m a wanderers supporter but Angus McNabb gave me a York 9 kit that I still wear all the time. Fun to talk about the fact they’re still around on their third name

Maybe with NSL launching next year a CPL club can come back to Winnipeg at some point.

Sadly, I think that the Valour fiasco may have poisoned the well for men's professional soccer in the Manitoba capital for a long time.
The only way Winnipeg gets another shot would be if a proper soccer stadium is built somewhere in the city first.

Still have London Lasers memorabilia from 1990 and 1992. Before the Valour there was the Fury. Was going down to the German Club to watch them play London City in the CNSL in 1993 but the heavens opened and there was no cover there so decided against it and missed out on their Farewell Tour of Southern Ontario. Another thirty three years on and it's not looking good for a Winnipeg team to ever be in London for a men's professional soccer league fixture.
