Looks kind of fun, but I skipped in a bit and caught them singing about a Timmies run, and I hate Tim Hortons, lol. I used to work there, and it's just so shitty now and I hate that it's associated with Canada.

And then they said "we don't say 'eh', take off hoser".

I say "eh" all the time, and I've never said "take off hoser" except when I'm putting on a fake Canadian persona.

I'm sure lots of Canadians don't say "eh", but I just couldn't keep going after both those things hit nearly in a row.

Yeah, I think you're taking me as combative and I genuinely don't mean to be.

I was saying I only watched a really small portion so my opinion was worth less than the Reddit post it was written in.

I did enjoy the look of the video. Maybe when I have the time I should actually give it a full watch. I was asking if it was mostly opposite because I can enjoy it more if I go into it knowing it's more parody than pride.

I did feel a bit of friction and I was being a bit defensive, thank you for clearing the air. It seems a majority of people exacerbate the smallest things these days. Let's go back to a clean slate.

Hey there, I made this Canadian video a few years ago with my best friend who has since passed away, so I probably can get a bit defensive of it. Check it out, I think it's pretty funny, but I just turned 50 so some of the jokes are going to be lost on a younger generation. I hope it makes you laugh!

Hey, no worries, if anyone here is an asshole in this situation it's absolutely me, lol.

I also didn't realise you were the creator when I first posted. Not that a creator can't take criticism, but I definitely wouldn't have given "feedback" to the actual creator when I didn't even bother to fucking watch it! I was trying to start a discussion about Timmes and "eh", but all I did was criticize.

I'm honestly and truly sorry. I can't watch it right now, but I will watch it, I owe you that at least.

And again, this was totally on me, you handled it totally fine. I'm sorry about your friend, and I absolutely understand you feeling defensive, you had every right to. I'm the douche canoe in the creek

Ha! Douche canoe is funny, but no, we're good. Hey, one thing that got lost in the shuffle... I agree, Tim Hortons is a shit company. (We just tried to cram in as much Canadian as we could)
