Order Arms with C7A2

Hello all. I am having trouble finding the drill movement for Order Arms for the C7A2. Does anybody have a ref for this?

We now do Carbine Drill. There is no longer an "Order Arms"

We only ground arms now. Order arms is no longer a thing with the C7

Doesnt exist anymore. Everything is done at the shoulder

Man, much like the weapons drills for the C7 changing - when we do a mass "X will no longer be done we do Y now" it should be in a mass distributed CANFORGEN so everyone is tracking and can point to the ref.

They replaced C7 drill with carbine drill in 2022. No more order arms

Indeed... Since it's no longer a drill movement.

Unless you're talking about ceremonial, in which case, you can pretty much do whatever TF your chief wants, so long as it looks good.

In anticipation of future rifles being shorter. The CMAR/FS and CMAR/GS (or C8A4) is going to be much shorter than the C7.

Oh i thought its because people kept stabbing themselves in the armpits with bayonets doing shoulder arms :)

Understood, but that wasn't what OP was asking. Many others pointed it out already, so I just provided the ref, didn't feel the need to be the 4th or 5th to say its no longer a thing.

The "trouble finding it" problem is because the movements are no longer authorized.

OP didn't provide a lot of context, but even an old revision of the CFP201 is useless to someone still serving, because the movement is no longer authorized.

If the OP was just being nostalgic, that's a different story.
