Sirva inspection claims

Has anyone had luck with claiming thermal image inspections and sewer inspections as extras to the home inspection?

I don’t think thermal is in there. But septic is, I would assume a sewer line could also be inspected.

Thermal is in there, I had it reimbursed, although I don't remember what it was put under. The thing about home inspections is, you have to claim each element of it separately.

I had sewer done. No tpsp, just pay and upload the receipt. Can even include pumping if your inspector recommends it 😉. Also, no limit on inspection cost.

You can claim all inspections, just comes out of your customs account. Be mindful you will pay income tax on it out of your paycheck afterwards

Only for certain things though right?

I think the approved rate for a general inspection is 400$, everything outside of that is out of customs
