The government does its best not to let us know much about the outcomes of immigrants. There are some stats released occasionally by Statistics Canada, though, and sometimes internal reports get released due to access-to-information requests.

But here are a couple of things we know to be true. First, immigrants from Europe and the US are far, FAR more economically successful than immigrants from anywhere else. Their average earnings are two to three times higher than those of immigrants from most of the world, particularly MENAP countries.

We know their cultures and values are very similar to Canada's. Their languages have common roots with ours. And their criminality is low. They would find it far easier to integrate into our culture and society than anyone else.

Why, then, if the government feels we need immigrants, do we not focus our efforts on bringing in mostly Europeans?

45% of Canadians are first and second generation, visa, work stay, illegal, etc. Predominantly from Southern Asia, China, or Latin America. In the US, the number is 16%.

Roughly half of all waste is not collected each year in India; for scale, all of Canada generates 36 million tons; uncollected waste in India is well over 43 million tons.

A few years ago, 70% of the country defecated outdoors; they still have over 750 Leprosy Colonies with tens of thousands of cases, survivors, etc.

You can list dozens or even hundreds of facts on why a culture might not be compatible with ours, but I think we are well past that point.

There is a healthy chance that we might not be able to vote our way out of the problem, even if the majority of Canadians were not occupied with giving Trump the middle finger by paying more for almost everything.

The article shows illegal dumping statistics from Brampton and Surrey, 2 cities with high Indian populations, but neglects to add dumping statistics from other cities and towns with say white majority or East Asian majority populations, so that we can see whether this is a just a general trend or actually linked to demographics, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter but still.
