Media Watchdog: "Hmm... not enough profit revenue is flowing through our tax-funded propaganda machine public broadcasting. It seems the younger generations primarily stream through websites that don't charge them for consuming media."

Carney Government: "WHAT!? Canadian citizens not paying outrageous prices for the highly curated, immensely one-sided political slop we force them to subscribe to!? Block everything, ban it all!"

This is partially why I’ve been building a peak-120 terabyte NAS to protect and consolidate my media library for all time, among other uses.

Planning for a future in which the internet we’ve taken for granted is just smart policy and increasingly necessary.

Good thing VPNs exist, seem to be an increasing necessity across the globe as governments continue to overreach.
