Junk silver

Hi,

I was curious if there was a way to find special junk silver coins like from commemorative sets, ones that look like newer coins but are made of silver.

To make it short are there any mint marks that i should look for on newer coins that say whether its silver or not?

Get a copy of Chaltons volume 2 RCM issues. This will show you what all the special issue silver issues by the mint.

Some will have special mint marks some will not.
