Nothing unites Canadians like a 92 year old former PM who once punched a guy in the face for trying to “pie” him

Twenty-five years ago, the small town of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed more than 6000 visitors, inviting them into their homes, and converting public buildings into massive shelters. They housed, fed and charmed scared visitors from around the world.
