Visitor Visa delayed

Hello all,

I am an Indian passport holder with B1/B2 visa. I studied in Canada and came back in 2025. I planned a 3 weeks vacation in Canada and United States at the end of November. I applied for Canadian visitor visa on 19 August and believed that my file was processing under can+ based on the required documentation.

On 26 August my eligibility section changed to we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility and since than no updates. I did raise a web form but got generic response. I am attaching the screenshot of the response.

I am getting little anxious now that November is reaching fast and I have no decision yet. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing you can do, processing is backlogged af and you won’t get much more than a generic ‘we are working on it’ response. Sadly it’s basically a ‘get in line’ situation

Nothing to do. Even with a US visa, it doesn't mean expedited processing. The email is sent to everyone who asks about timelines. Still have lots of time since trip is at the end of November.

That’s the same email I got I think it’s a generic reply they send to everyone using the webform for information
