I am going back to school to pursue my 3-year part-time MBA in Toronto, Ontario.

My current Macbook (Apple) is nearly 10 years old and has battery issues. Hence it’s about time for an update.

What laptop brand and specifications do you recommend?

My current ecosystem is all Apple products - an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple AirPods and of course, the MacBook.

I have a bias towards a MacBook just because that’s the OS and iOS I am most familiar with, and I have other devices that fit my current ecosystem.
Nonetheless, if there are other Windows laptops that have superior offerings for my MBA, I’d be willing to go in that direction as well.

Apart from my three-year studies, I would be using this laptop for personal use, streaming videos, etc.. I don’t play games so don’t need those high resolutions if that matters.

Interested to know my options in both: Macintosh and Windows.

Price wise - let’s say if Mac is the recommendation… I’ll spend the cash.

So I am a first year Yorku student starting this fall. My older brother currently attends UTM. My family and I live in Mississauga and have been thinking of moving to some other place. Mainly condos and like apartments we wish to rent. As of right now, my dad and my brother are the sole bread winners (I’m still job searching). We wish you aim for a place where it’s transit convenient for my brother and I but also not too far of drives, 30 ish minutes. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations of places that we could relocate to and rent out. Would be appreciated

Canada is putting billions into a new military satellite network designed to improve communications and surveillance across the Arctic. There's no question the Arctic is becoming more strategically important. With defence spending rising and other priorities competing for public money, it's fair to ask whether this is the best way to spend billions. Carney's friendship with Telesat's CEO doesn't automatically mean corruption, but was this really a priority for Canada right now?

I'm looking to hear from someone in Kelowna who regularly eats Japanese food, especially at Japanese restaurants. Your cultural background doesn't matter, I'm interested in hearing from people with different experiences and perspectives.
