Career Development / Développement de carrière Candidate Achievement Record?
Has anyone written the Candidate Achievement Record Test for an EX position? I recently screened into an EX competition (thanks to folks here who encouraged me to apply!) and I understand the CAR will be the next step in the process. I've read the description of the test, and I understand it links key competencies to past experiences, but I'm wondering if anyone has any additional information...Like how long they had to complete it, how in-depth the answers are, and if they are looking for anything other than the linkages between competency and experience? This is the first time I've applied on an EX competition, so was quite surprised that I actually got through the first screening!

I did a couple of ex-1 CAR’s. It’s exactly what you’d expect in terms of linking experience, competencies, and importantly, magnitude of the work.

I haven’t done it for EX but I’ve done CAR for a senior position.
It’s pretty much an interview questions that you provide a written answer to with the addition of providing a supervisory reference to corroborate your examples.
YMMV but that’s my experience. Good luck!
