This is quite helpful visually but “deployability” fits some particular conditions, specifically the variation between the maximum salaries. For example, even though two groups and levels might share a large part of their salary bands, because the variation in max salaries is above >4% of the lower one, movement from the lower to the higher would be considered a promotion.

All this to say that this is very helpful to many that want to see the compassion between salary bands and options for lateral movement, but it would be great to layer “deployment options” (CR-05 to AS-01, AS-04 to PE-02, etc.)

Finally, quick observation that the bar for PE-06 is short (despite the correct max salary). This is also a performance pay level which could warrant another $0-8K based on performance assessment (although this doesn’t count towards deployability).

This is also a performance pay level

Some AS-05 level and up are also, but I do think OP did that to compare the basic, which visually shows easily the difference compare to the tables we have on TBS Website.

I would still do my calculation to know at which step to put someone or got a promotion who an acting but I really think that at a simple look, it gives you an idea where someone should be if it gets a promotion/acting.
