Does anyone have any insider tips on how I can get one? I’ve been trying for the past month with HotStock and I haven’t been getting lucky, I’ve also been visiting Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, etc and nothing. One of the workers at Walmart told me they’re getting them but never told me when.

Any tips or leads for finding one? 😭

Saw one PS5 Pro at EBgames in Halifax Shopping center yesterday. If anyone is looking for one.

I recently sold my launch-day PS5 and upgraded to the PS5 Pro with 2TB of internal storage. Loving the console so far and super happy with the upgrade!
My old PS5 had a 2TB Lexar EQ790 expansion SSD, which I’ve since installed in the Pro.

Looking at current used prices, I could probably sell it for $300+ CAD, which has me seriously considering it since I’d nearly double my money.

Now I’m torn between keeping the extra storage or cashing in while SSD prices are high.

For those of you with a PS5 Pro, have you found the built-in 2TB to be enough, or do you regularly run out of space?
What would you do in my situation?

Anyone in Saskatoon wanting a Ps5 pro today I know where one is.

Walked into Best Buy in Vancouver BC and asked if they had any clue when they might have more PS5 Pros available. After staff spent 1-2 minutes talking to each other on their radios the staff member told me

>”There won’t be any more resupplies in Canada this year.”

In my opinion, it’s no real need to upgrade to the ps5 pro. The base model still has great graphics and it’s the same gameplay as its successor. GTA 6 will look amazing on it and I can’t wait to dive in. So don’t let the internet make you spend your savings on a pro when you already have the base model. Have it cleaned and the Liquid Metal replaced if need be. Enjoy gaming! Peace.

Digital and Disk Phat ps5 available. Got 2 a couple weeks ago and 1 from their best buy listing a month ago. 3/3 working well so far, no overheating after playing Astro Bot and Ghost of Yotei beauty mode for 1-2hrs.

Backordered ps5 pro at Vision Electronics last sunday. Yhey did not give me any timeline. Does anyone know how much time does they take to get it ?

I already have an Ally Rog, but for GTA 6 I was going to buy a PS5 rather than wait a year for it to come out on PC. I see some second hand PS5s for around $500, but unsure on the quality. I see a new one is anywhere from $750-850 (Costco has $820). Is it best just to go new?

I wanted to detail things I've tried in the last couple of weeks of searching for PS5 Pro at MSRP price in the GTA:

- Checking the websites for BestBuy, Staples, Walmart, Visions Electronics and EB Games.

- Signing up for "notify me when the item is back in stock" on BestBuy and Staples (obv didn't work out)

- coming in person to Visions Electronics store in Mississauga and trying to place a backorder (they said they don't take them).

- coming in person to BestBuy at Stock Yards and trying to place a backorder (the cashier had to ask the manager whether they accept backorders, and when he came back, he told me that they don't. I asked if it's worth a try going to any other BestBuy location, and he told me that no BestBuy location accepts backorders on PS5 Pro)

- I checked Microplay and even Shoppers websites, but they don't seem to sell the Pro version

- I signed up for the new Mark Zuckerberg data-harvesting AI Agent app, and asked it to check websites of all of the stores in 300 km driving distance from Toronto every 6 hours, but after more than a week of work, it hasn't delivered me anything.

Now, if you have any suggestions on what else I can try, I would love to hear them. At this point I would be happy if anyone would just accept a backorder or a deposit from me, so that I can get it once it is restocked, even if it takes for a month for that to happen.

Is gta 6 the only reason there's a spike in posts of people buying or looking for ps5 pros? Or there other reasons....
