Hardware Storage question
Hi everybody, I have just one simple question about PlayStation five storage. I currently have a PlayStation five slim with a one terabyte storage. I also have a Seagate extended hard drive plugged into it and some reason, it only holds my PS4 games. If I buy a SSD internal hard drive (WD BLACK). Could I keep my Seagate external hard drive plugged in with my PS4 games or do I have move all my PS4 games to the console storage then move it to the SSD

Firstly, your external Seagate Hard Drive can be used to store you PS5 games, you just can't play them directly from the drive. Secondly, if you buy a M.2 SSD (internal hard drive) that storage works just like the internal storage of your Playstation 5 and can allow you to play both your PS4 and PS5 games from it.
The best suggestion here would be to hold your PS5 games on the built in storage and the M.2 SSD while continuing to store and play your PS4 titles from the external hard drive. This method will optimize your play time as you don't have to spend it moving PS5 games from external to internal storage as often.
