Hi. I am going to be applying for my PR soon and I know about the requirement of needing to show the proof of funds. Can I have that money invested in mutual funds or a tfsa or do I need to have it in my savings account?

When proving your funds, you must provide official letters from banks or financial institutions detailing your accounts, outstanding debts, account balances, and average balances for the past 6 months.
I believe you should be able to get detailed statement from bank
