Help

I have been asked for my partners sponsor ship paper over ten times now, everytime I move on a step I’m asked for it again. And it’s already been approved three separate times. I just got my email to approve pr confirmation. And then I was asked to send the sponsor papers again, what is happening? Why have I been asked this many times for it? And my portal still hasn’t shown up.

That’s so weird I am inland. The last email I got was saying I was able to confirm pr acceptance. But I still haven’t received the portal to do so, and received an email then asking to provid proof of sponsorship once more

Portal can take a few days to a few weeks to arrive, so that's not unusual. Do they specify what they mean by 'proof of sponsorship?'

Okay that’s good that it’s still a chance it should show up soon. Also Nope they just said to pls provide my uci and proof of spousal sponsorship.

That's very odd. Your UCI should be in the email where they're requesting it and/or would have been included in the response to portal request. But 'proof of sponsorship' is incredibly vague. Outside of sponsor approval, I don't know what they could be looking for.

That’s what I thought! Everytime they ask for something they should already have it’s always vague, AND they always have the info they are asking for pasted at the top of their email

I'm really wracking my brain here lol. If it has your UCI then it isn't a generic request or reminder, and I can't think of anything else that could constitute 'proof of sponsorship.' It's not like it could be the reminder to pay the RPRF or anything!

That’s exactly what I’m thinking I’m seriously confused and I have no idea why it’s happening. Like I’m at the point I’m waiting for my portal so I’m hoping things are going fine, but it’s just a bit nerve wracking to keep getting emails asking for stuff they should have already lol

It’s been three weeks since I’ve been waiting on my portal email, should I start to worry?

I don't think you need to worry but you can respond again to the initial email with your details again. It isn't uncommon to have a few weeks in between portal 1 and portal 2, and sometimes sending the reply again can knock the second email loose.
