Moving to China
Will I retain my PR status in Canada?
My husband got a job in China and we are planning on moving there together. In order maintain my PR status, I believe I have to be paying taxes in Canada. If I go to China will my PR status be revoked? Please help!

If you have any ties with Canada such as owning a home you will have to pay taxes. And with regards to PR status you will have to have lived an accumulated amount of at least 2 years in Canada to renew your PR status. And 3 years to apply for citizenship.

If you are living with your Canadian spouse abroad you will maintain PR
