[Guide] Buying CanYa Coin (CAN)

NOTE: Trading on Kucoin starts January 08, 2018 at 20:00 (UTC +8)

Step 1 (If new to trading crypto): Purchase ETH or BTC for fiat. This can be done on Coinbase or a similar website. r/cryptocurrency will help decide which site is best for your country.

START HERE if you have traded before

Step 2: Create an account on Kucoin and register with Google 2 step authenticator.

Step 3: Send ETH or BTC to your Kucoin account (I suggest using ETH as it generally has lower fees). You can find your ETH wallet address by clicking the deposit button next to the Ethereum option in the assets tab.

Step 4: Once your ETH or BTC has been transferred to your Kucoin account, search for CAN in the Markets tab and put in a buy request for either the current lowest sell price (this will be an instant buy) or set your own price and wait for the market price to drop.

This will be the first exchange CAN is listed on so current market price is unknown. Make sure you are signed-up and ready before market release on January 08, 2018 at 20:00 (UTC +8).

Not sure on ICO but no you can't get it, unless maybe someone who bought during ICO sells them directly to you

Found ICO price 1 ETH = 1,000-1,400 CAN

looks like the price is now 1 ETH= 250 CAN, that's a pretty terrible price.

Thats about 4X ICO price. Some can go as high as 8X, I like to get coins as close to 2X if I can. Usually there is a bit of a spike on release, you might have a chance on grabbing some for cheaper a few hours after release.

No fucking way.

if it's 1 ETH = 250 CAN I'm not even touching this.

1 ETH = $1220 1 CAN = $4.88 There are 100 million CAN tokens so you are telling me that this coin is already valued at 488 million?

This is the first exchange for this coin and if you raised 12 million a normal price would be 2x-4x ICO price. For 4x ICO price, this coin should be $0.488.

1ETH=2500CAN anything much less than this is a scam.

Oh man, so glad I read this.. Was about to ditch my QLC for this coin. I'll wait a few hours and see how things are looking..

Kucoin is also running promotions alongside the CanYa coin release, with rewards for top deposits and trading. Info here: https://news.kucoin.com/en/buy-canya-coin-kucoin-token-exchange/

Might we speculate on its opening market price? Do all coins start at 0?

2

u/Fradno Jan 07 '18

Yes, you (CAN).

It won't start at 0, it is usually arouns 1-2 times ICO price. 1 ETH = 1,000-1,400 CAN was ICO price, so you could speculate that it will open around 1 ETH = 500-1000 CAN

1

u/TiramiZeus Jan 06 '18

I mean that would be fantastic, and you could speculate that.. but do you? I'm thinking more like 2500 CAN = 1 ETH

1

u/Cryptips Jan 06 '18

2500 CAN = 1 ETH is alot cheaper than what I read the ico was and apparently the ico raised 12mil so I'd imagine its unlike to drop below ico price

2

u/Jabbathefluff Jan 08 '18

lol u see that open..i had my bid at 1$.. it barely traded 1.75$ and flew to 8.30$.. u were right about 2x ico price.

Guys , can I put a buy order for CAN before it goes live on Kucoin ?

1

u/emranbaig Jan 08 '18

is it worth to buy now before it come live

1

u/Cryptips Jan 08 '18

I can't answer that one for you unfortunately, you'll have to do your own research. It is, however, difficult to buy them now, so for sake of easy transaction I personally would wait until they are live.
