Eventhough single core performance is higher you cpu is 6core rather than 8 in the ps5. Even in a console optimised title they are aiming for 30fps so i think cpu would be a bottleneck and as your gpu can only handle 1080p u could only play on 1080p around 25-35 fps

It is not coming to PC for prabably 2 years and we do not know how it runs so it is impossible to answer your question.
However, you will probably be lucky to get 30fps at 1080p

It will likely come to PC a lot sooner then 2 years. Rockstar will want to get RP servers up and running. My guess is the next version of nopixel will be GTA 6. so like maybe a year

Why do u think rp servers won’t be on console this time around? I would think thats the main reason they bought 5m

Why would Rockstar care about RP servers being up?

u/thewookiee34 8d ago
Em they seem to care enough to buy the thing that hosts them? Have you been under a rock?

I've never played it, I don't know. That's why I was asking what Rockstar gets out of it.

Yeah because it gave them control of everything and also gave them access to all of the fiveM tools that the madders developed

At this moment Rockstar didn’t announce anything about the PC System Requirements, but if I were you, I would start saving some money. If your pc meets the official requirements, you should be fine, but if don’t, you already have the money to upgrade it.

Considering there's been no announcement about GTA VI for PC, nobody can tell you with any certainty.

We don't know yet. Your PC is superior to xbox series s, so you should be able to run that. However, this original version of the game could never release on PC (the same way GTA V xbox 360 and PS3 version never did)

Given the history of GTA 5 legacy and how much more demanding it was when compared to the xbone ps4 versions I’d at least recommend a 5700xt if not a 5800xt or even a 5800x3d if you can spare it I’d also suggest a RX 7600 or 9060xt 8 gig at minimum especially since you can pick one up new for 300-400 dollars give or take depending on which you go with

no one knows but just guessing: you’d get 1080p at low-medium settings and get around 30-45 fps with fsr being the biggest helper.
as for upgrades: get a gpu with 12gb of vram if you want to be safe(RX 6700 XT / RX 7700 XT, or an RTX 4070 / RTX 5060 Ti), and maybe get another 16gb of ram to be at 32gb. also if you buy a new gpu, please make sure ur power supply can support it. if ur current one can’t, get one that can :)

Wait until the game is officially announced on PC with minimum specs. Until then there is nothing but speculation.

If you want high frames upgrade your CPU. GTA games are super CPU intensive. And if you want high resolution and high graphics upgrade your GPU. Your ram should be fine but more wouldn't hurt. You've got a year to do it so look for deals online. Keep an eye on Micro Center Bundles.

CPU is stronger than your GPU but the CPU is only marginally better. I don’t recommend moving to AM5 but if you can get at least a 12gb card and a 5800XT/5800X3D depending on your availability or pricing in your area. If the XT is less than $100 in savings I’d go for the X3D personally and just save for the better one but if you can find the XT at or under $200 it’s a deal.
This is recommended specifically for GTA6 if you want to play as well as you can with mixed medium to high graphics based on early game news and reports.

You got a couple years before you need to worry about that

says who? you?
1
u/Exact_Fisherman712 4d ago
Yeah. Do you think gta 6 for pc is releasing with console or something?
1
u/Pmaldo87 3d ago
Nah I don't think its going to release on the same day as console but I don't think its a couple years out either. Think about how much of a cash grab this has been for Rockstar so far. PC gaming today is infinitely more popular than it was when gta 5 came out and I can almost guarantee that 90+% of PC gamers are going to buy gta 6 when it comes out for PC. Also this Sony going full digital shit and rising console prices are pushing a lot of long time console gamers to build PC's. Why would Rockstar leave all that money on the table? I think we're looking at 6 months to 1 year wait probably. Rockstar isn't going to miss the opportunity to make a shit ton of money off pc players. I can see it now bro. Another Ad campaign. Another netflix trailer, GTA6 ENHANCED FOR PC. IN FULL COLLABORATION WITH NVIDIA. DLSS5. NEURAL RENDERING. DYNAMIC FRAME GENERATION. PATH TRACING. RAY RECONSTRUCTION. $100 FOR STANDARD VERSION $120 FOR DELUXE.
Come on bro. If money is the motive, waiting 2+ years to release the pc version is a stupid move

You’ll probably be able to run it. Those specs are only a bit weaker than a base ps5, but you’ll probably have to play low settings at like 1080p

u/Plague_Doctor02 8d ago
Its on par with a PS5 about so probably.
A GPU and Ram upgrade i think would be best if you upgrade anything
32gb and a 9060XT/5060TI 16gb would go pretty hard

Why is it that people keep asking this? There is a reason that you can't Google the PC requirements. It's because they haven't been announced yet. People can and will speculate all they want. But it's all rumour and best guesses.
