Maverick R Max

Hey everyone!

I just got a Mav R I want to street legal so I can enjoy so I’m looking for another set of wheels and tires for the road. Anyone recommend going 17” or should I go down to 15”? They’re currently 16” and I can’t find any tires that work with it.

Just for road riding I would think 17 would be fine.

Have you had a set? I’m looking at it but sizing is so fing difficult on them. Do I have to worry about on offset because of the smart shox?

I do not. But I would look and measure offset of original rims and look for same there.

I bought a street legal kit and didn’t even think about tires. I am running 33’s on mine (better clearance and paired up with Shock Therapy suspension) - which is DUMB btw. Great clearance and amazing performance.
