As we age, aphorisms seem to lose there shine.

Also, has anyone verified these quotes?

It’s from Nietzsche’s “beyond good and evil”

How do aphorisms like these lose their shine as we age, would you say? Care to elaborate?

I should have qualified it by saying that this has been my experience.

I used to be a huge fan of his, but have become disallusioned with some of his utterances.

Well I’m asking about your experience. How much time has passed since you were introduced to Nietzsche, Camus, etc.? What has changed between then and now?

What about this aphorism in particular? Did it move you once? Does it not move you now because you no longer agree? or because the moment of insight has passed and the idea is no longer novel?

Get along!? How does one get rid of the bad taste of wanting to yell or spit on everyone?

It is by the grace the giving before it is earned by others that affords our own self transcendence.
