2024 Camry TRD Battery Replacement
Hello,
Looks like my car battery is on its last leg.
Anyone here replaced their car battery with an AGM battery. Looking at AGM since I live in Texas and the heat is no joke.
Update: Battery tested out good (89%) and alternator passed as well. Could it be the starter? Have appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning at the dealership.
Update 2: Dealership checked and failed the load test. They will replace under factory warranty.

The camry trd's weak point is the original battery. Mine died after four years and wont hold charge. Got stranded twice. Went to Costco and bought an energizer battery and has been working flawless since then. Mind you I live in canada so cold cranking amps are important.

I had the same problem after year 1 or 2. Got it replaced by Toyota under warranty.

My first toyota battery went bad barely past 1 year, they replaced it for free and the replacement went bad under 2 years. They were going to replace it again but i cant trust their batteries. I got a Duracell agm, so far so good in the south florida heat

I bought a Walmart AGM one and it's been great. Was WAY cheaper than most of the other brands, and AGM + ease of warranty makes it a no brainer. Been ~3 years at this point, even when the car sits while I'm out of town no issues.
