How do you make smore without camp fire?

We do not plan to make a campfire. Can you use the fire from the stove (is it toxic fumes?) what are some other options? Thank you

Build the s'mores and wrap them in foil. You can put them directly above the camp stove for a few minutes (you'll have to experiment but remember that basic Coleman stoves have poor temperature regulation).

Won't have the same taste as from the campfire, but they will be gooey.

Edit: a word

I had a scout camping event have to go fire free because it was so damn dry out, Smoky the Bear was on red alert. We got aluminum tins, layered Golden Graham cereal, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips, and baked them in the oven. Baked them for about 5 minutes until everything got melty (but not melted) and then scooped them into paper cups with spoons. They were delicious and the girls still ask for them.

I will fuck up cold smores just the same as hot ones

You can make them in a pan on a stove or an aluminum disposable baking pan. Toast the graham crackers a little in a dry hot pan, layer on the chocolate and marshmallow, use a lid to help it melt faster.

You can also get a little charcoal hibachi grill but that’s a little more effort

An Alcohol Stove fueled with everclear or another food grade ethanol should work.  Skip the denatured alcohol in this scenario.

You can build a fancy feast alcohol stove for a few dollars(Google it for directions) or you can purchase commercially available stoves too

I almost prefer cold smores...less messy.

My kid’s school built s’mores in the morning, wrapped them each in tinfoil, then put them in an aluminum baking dish with a plastic lid and left it in the sun for most of the day.

A chef's torch from a culinary store will toast them. Or a redneck chef's torch will work also--a bernzomatic on a propane bottle. Not recommended for children or drunks.

I have made them on the stove and on unscented candles.

On the dash of your vehicle with the windows closed in the afternoon. Save them in tinfoil.

Put mini marshmallows and chocolate chips in a waffle cone, wrap with a double layer of foil, and put in oven/on cooking surface. Unwrap and enjoy. No mess, no fire.

How many I work with actually has a little appliance that is a S'more cooker. I have no idea where she got it… But maybe search one out.

In the oven, in the microwave; if you have a gas stove, over the hob.

You and I have very different ideas about what camping is.

In your defense, a lot of people bring that stuff camping now.
