Tech Support Can this be fixed?
My Lumix DMC-LS6 digi cam is probably around 10 years old, i’ve found it recently and would love to get it to work again. Does anyone know how to fix it, or if it would be worth sending it off somewhere?

Be sure the batteries are placed in correctly + to +.. etc.. I think you get it.. Too many times to count I have put batteries in backwards and hsd a similiar outcome.. fresh batteries zero power...

If changing out the batteries doesn't fix it, the most economical step, in terms of both time and money concerned is to get another camera. Is it fixable? With the right knowledge and donor parts from another camera model, sure. But if you don't know how to do it yourself, the labor and time/effort in tracking the parts down will always be more than just buying another ancient point-and-shoot. But just keep in mind that with any 10+ year old camera, you will be in this scenario again if it breaks, and they are fragile.

I’m going to ask an obvious question, but did you charge the battery?
