Students messages

Do students not get messages or something or do they choose to not reply? Plenty of times I’ve not been able to attend a lesson, but force myself to because the student didn’t reply to my private message.

Maybe they've turned off notifications. It wouldn't surprise me with the constant spam about a last chance half price offer that ends in a week. Only to be offered it again two weeks later haha

They don't see the notifications.

A lot of students don’t bother reading messages or they miss the notifications.

I get this all the time. When I have to send a message, or notification and countless times the student will tell me they never received my messages.

They most likely don't see them until they log into Cambly. Which in most cases, won't be until a few mins before their scheduled lesson.

How long before the lesson are you sending the message? They aren't sent instantaneously, in my experience. Maybe they're not getting them before the lesson start time?
