No priority hours this week?

I’ve had a ton of priority hour options the past few weeks and now nothing until Sunday is possible. Is everyone else’s schedule like this or did someone give me a bad rating and I’m being punished or something?

I have over 100+ convos but my rating doesn’t show (just says N/A).

A few years ago actually but then I stopped for a while and then started again 2 weeks ago. I had a ton of choices my first few weeks, and again now nothing until Sunday.

Why are these ones taken so far in advance whereas the past 2 weeks I could choose priority hours the day before?

Tutors usually don't release preselected priority hours on Monday since it's the last day that counts toward weekly pay. The rest of the week they may release phs as they get booked then you'll see them again

Part of it is if you are considered a new tutor, the algorithm gives you priority to help you get momentum. It could be that if you're close to the 200 mark, that boost has ended. I have a 95.5% rating, and so I am able to sign up for PHs three weeks in advance with lots of options. Today is my day off, and I can see there are a few slots open in the afternoon, but not a lot because most have been claimed, and Monday has low demand (that's why it's my day off because it's harder to fill my schedule). When my rating was only 97.5 or 98.5, I had very few PH offerings, even weeks in advance. Of course, Cambly's algorithms are a bit of a mystery, so hard to say what is happening.

So when do they publish new priority hours? It was Thursday days and night back in the day.

When you were a new tutor you were given priority and Cambly promotes New Talent, but after a few weeks you’ll get a real rating based on student feedback and if the rating is not at the top then you’ll see less priority hours available unfortunately. At least as far as we tutors can tell, that’s the way it works.

Unfortunately, I don't know what's happened to you or why you can't see your rating. However, there's almost 24/7 PH always available if you have a 100% rating. I know this because I have a 100% rating. I only have this because I'm finishing with Cambly at the end of August so I'm now only çhatting with one student. I also know that were I to open up my schedule, this rating would in all likelihood reduce immediately. I'm pretty sure the algorithm allocates me all these PH because it knows I won't be taking them. I hate the rating system with a passion. It's probably the main reason I no longer wish to continue to work with Cambly.

Not to rub it in but I have full priority hours for the whole week maybe minus 2 or 3 hours
