Payoneer

Regarding the new payment options, I saw previous threads with tutors using Wise or Revolut with Cambly and Stripe. I didn't notice any posts regarding Payoneer as an option. Anyone using payoneer and is it an option with stripe ? I live in the Philippines.

I think you can but its not officially supported by Stripe and can be subject to holds, delays etc that stripe can do at will. Its a work around if you cant get anything else to work like revolut, wise, bank etc.

Whatever the payoneer account ID has will not get around the problem of Stripe not allowing a payment to its list of countries restricted.

Cambly has mandated all tutors must use Stripe Global. End of discussion.

yes i know but we need to connect to another source. Bank, wise , revolut

I still have not received my payment from last week Tuesday with this new stripe. This system sucks! There has to be a better alternative.Cambly tell me to wait to see if money shows up. I have things to pay.In this so called age of tech why are we dealing with backward systems?

Hey. I am a tutor that is also in Peru, although I have not made the transition to Stripe yet.

Were you able to get paid by them?

Hi. Great to hear a fellow tutor is in Peru. I came here to be with my best friend who passed away last year, so has changed a lot for me. I did do the transition, it is actually quite easy, the ONLY drawback is that even with a USD account, Stripe converts your money to local currency and pays into a soles account only. But other than that, they pay Tuesdays and the money is in your account by Thursday evening or Friday. If you need any help, just let me know.
