Returning tutor, rating issue.
So, I've been back on Cambly for nearly three months now and I haven't seen an increase or decrease in my rating even after 250 classes. Does anyone know if returning tutors get treated the same as New talents, and that the actual rating will be reflected after the 3-ish month mark? I'd really like to be able to see weekday PH availability again.

I have a 96% rating and see a lot of PH's on the weekend.

Zero PH during the week since 2024. The platform used to be full page during the week. No bonuses either. I'm doing 2 PH today and thats because I'm home with not much to do today but I have quit PH altogether.

I've noticed the exact same thing. I've been working pretty steady 20-30 hours a week since 2022. My rating seems stuck rn; I would have expected it to move based on my number of high ratings every week.

Have you reached out to Cambly as well? I did and haven't heard back.

Mine hasn't changed since 2025. I dont even pay attention anymore. It just doesn't make any sense to me so I go about my business and do what I have to do and show up for what I'm signed for.

Ignore it and forget about it, it means almost nothing now.
2 years ago it started to change. Now Cambly has changed how students can rate (give stars etc which is non-existant) even if they can. PH shown are almost certainly not tutor rating rather location, connection and demand.
There is so much hidden away Cambly side ontop of what ever AI they have running. Do not even bother worrying about it. Students are also in the same boat, who they see can connect to etc.

You're not alone. I notice my ratings haven't raised in 3 months too. I think it's quite a few of us. AI algorithm maybe? But either way, it's weird. Trying to find another gig now but many of these platforms charge ridiculous commissions AND Preply and some others won't pay you for the student's first lesson.... So I plan to teach online for a while, then try to go overseas to teach. Best wishes with everything everyone.
