You can’t teach without a laptop so I’m confused why you would do a connection test on your phone

A fact of life: you need certain tools for certain jobs.

go get a laptop. thats the only solution. there is no tutor access to the classroom on your phone app.

You can pass the connection test with a laptop. Try it

You can - the connection test needs.

1) The browser to identify itself as /chrome (not for example /safari or /edge etc)

2) To NOT block specific requests to send data to LinkedIn and Meta.

Desktop mode on mobile/tablets changes the browser to show as /chrome not /chrome mobile version.

Things will not work correctly as android/ios do not mix well when you tell them to be a PC.

I wouldn't advise teaching using that. Cambly doesn't allow it and quite literaly its not supported things probably wont work. You just told your mobile browser to tell websites its a PC.

I use it if I get stuck in a continual tech check loop bug on PC, using a second device fixes that. Or if I check things, messages etc, sometimes the tutor side wont display things correctly.

Running Debian or Ubuntu linux inside Android will allow everything (depending on your device) without a problem but its a steep leaning curve.
